These gemshorns are made from polished African oxhorn; white marbled with gray or green and a black or brown tip, each one unique in color and shape; leather tuning band to shade window and flatten pitch as needed; range of a ninth, using standard recorder fingerings; must be kept well-humidified in winter humidifier supplied with instrument.
